FOOD BODY SOUL
THE FIRST 5 WEEKS ARE ALL ABOUT FOOD:
We start out healing your relationship with food. You will be learning everything you need to know to free yourself from emotional eating, binge eating, restriction, and obsessive thought patterns. You will learn to take care of your health without dieting, how to listen to your body, and become an intuitive eater.
THE SECOND 5 WEEKS ARE ALL ABOUT BODY IMAGE:
Next, we focus on body image- you will learn practical skills for healing your body image, overcoming objections to body acceptance, how to cultivate self-love, and separate your worth from your weight. Plus we will be learning all about Body Wisdom, creating a strong connection between your body & mind. Plus get ready for a radical shift in perspective about bodies, weight, and self-worth.
THE LAST 6 WEEKS ARE ALL ABOUT SOUL (AKA SELF):
Lastly, Soul is all about your relationship with yourself. Obsessing about food and your weight takes up so much time, energy, brain space, and identity, so when you've done the work to heal, now what? Who are you and who do you want to be? This is all about self-reflection, self-connection, self-compassion, and self-love. You will connect more deeply to who you truly are and learn to live a big, juicy life outside of food that is in alignment with your values!

— 12 WEEKS OF PRE-RECORDED ONLINE COURSE MODULES
You will have lifetime access to the course curriculum that will help guide your healing journey. There is homework, journal prompts, and action items to put into practice to help facilitate your transformation. It's not enough to learn the steps to heal, the homework helps you take the steps! Each module includes additional resources and recommendations as well (books, podcasts, blogs posts, YouTube Videos etc.)
— PREVIOUSLY RECORDING GROUP COACHING CALLS
Each week of the program you will have a corresponding coaching call from a previous live round of the course. Watching these calls and hearing the coaching in real-time is one of the best ways for you to apply it to your own life. These are worth the entire investment by themselves.
— 4 WORKSHOPS WITH GUEST EXPERTS
You won't just be learning from me, you will also be learning from other experts in the Anti-diet and Intuitive Eating space. Eating Disorder Recovery with Dani Adriana, Body Confidence with Carrie Dayton, Body Image with Victoria Welsby, and Emotional Wellbeing with Brandilyn Tebo. These are all pre-recorded and you can watch them on your own time.

I am music obsessed, love living in Los Angeles, and am one of those annoying Disneyland addicts! When I am not supporting my incredible clients you will find me cooking, eating, singing, dancing, and enjoying an Aperol spritz with my friends.
As a Health & Life Coach and Breathwork Facilitator, I’m on a mission to help women heal their relationship w/ food, body & beyond. As part of my mission, I am also the published author of two books, Body Wisdom and Vegan Buddha Bowls, as well as the host of my podcast called Love Your Bod Pod.
But before I became the Cara you know today, I existed in a place of chaos where I was stressed, depressed, and obsessed with controlling food and my weight for over a decade.
It felt like the more I tried to shrink my body, the more my life shrank right along with it.
But eventually, I got to a place where I said "enough is enough" and did the work necessary to truly make peace with food and my body so I could access the life that dieting promised, but never delivered. Once I committed to doing this work, my life unfolded in the most beautiful of ways.
Originally, I was terrified to release control by letting go of obsession around my body and food. But loosening my grip on dieting and weight control didn’t actually result in my life falling apart...it resulted in it falling together.
Once the pieces fell into place and all the dots connected, I started coaching women like you through this healing journey. Since then I’ve guided hundreds of women to true self-love, self-worth, and inner peace. What if I am afraid of weight gain and fear that if I gain more weight I will feel even worse about myself?I feel you on this, I’ve been there. The fear of weight gain is the biggest fear that keeps us stuck obsessing over food and from working towards food freedom. But the thing is, if you are living in fear of weight gain, that is THE reason to join, so you no longer have to live in this fear. When we detach our worth from our weight we take the power away from food. The fear of weight gain or the desire to lose weight does not need to go away before you can do this work or be a part of FBS - The Academy!

What if I feel like now is not the right time?Well, when is the right time? Do you know? If you don’t know, how long have you been putting THIS off and using “not the right time” as an excuse? What I know is, there is never really a right time, but rather, when we decide we want something we make the time for it. If you want to heal and are ready to commit to the work then now is the right time. And if you asked me, I’d say there is no coincidence that you’re reading this right now. I’d say it is your time.

When does FBS begin?The program officially begins on March 14th, 2022.

When does enrollment open + close?Enrollment is now open. Early Bird Pricing ends Febuary 15th, so enrollbefore than to save $500 off the invesment. Doors close March 10th.

What is the investment?The full investment is $3,350 but enroll before Febuary 15th to save $500, which makes it $2,850. You can pay in full or set up a payment plan.

What are the Monthly Themes?The first 5 weeks are all about your relationship with food. Think: ending emotional eating, binge eating, yo-yo dieting, obsessively thinking about food. You will learn how to stop fighting food and become an intuitive eater. You will leave knowing how to take care of your heath without dieting. The next 5 weeks are all about your relationship with your body. You will learn practical tools to help you heal your body image. You will overcom objections to body acceptance, and how to cultivate self-love and separate your worth from your weight. Plus get ready for a radical shift in perspective about bodies, weight, and self-worth. And last is SOUL, (aka Self): when your time, energy, brain space, and identity are no longer tied up with food and your weight, now what? You will connect more deeply to who you truly are as well as who you want to be. You will be guided to to live a big, juicy life outside of food that is in alignment with your values.

What is the time commitment?There is roughly 2-3 hours of online course modules to watch + homework to work through. There will be a group coaching call that is 1.5-2 hours in length. So about 3-5 hours a week on average. Outside of that, you can engage as little or as much as you’d like with the community and curriculum. Everything in FBS can be self-paced and can be engaged with whenever it is best for you. All calls are pre-recorded for you to watch if you miss live.

Is it just for women?At this moment yes, FBS is for any and all women and femmes looking for a safe, welcoming community where they can make peace with food, their body and connect more deeply to themselves. It’s also a great place to meet like-minded individuals and potentially even a new best friend.

Will I get to connect with Cara in FBS?Yes! You will have weekly group calls and 2 x 1:1 coaching calls with just you and Cara to use throughout the program.

How do I access the community?The online course is through Teachable and you will recieve a log-in and password upon the start of the program. Inside the course portal will be the modules, homework, workshops with guest experts, and all the group call recordings. The What's App group will be access through your smartphone. The Facebook group will be private and acessed through your device of choice.

How long do I have access to the course curriculum and call recording?You have lifetime access!

What is the refund & cancellation policy?Due to the nature of the experience, there are no refunds.

What FBS is not:FBS is not a substitute for therapy, any other medical condition, or eating disorder treatment. If you have an eating disorder this could be a supplement on the side of your care and I recommend talking with your treatment team and/or health care professional to determine if this will be supportive to you.
