Healing your relationship with food and your body is the doorway to the freedom, peace, and life you’ve always wanted. Through the community and coaching available within Food Body Soul, you will be guided to transform from the inside-out and reconnect to the truth of who you really are (which is so much more than a body to be looked at).

If it has, you’ve probably been led to believe that you’ll have more confidence, more love, more fun, more happiness, (I’m sure you could keep filling in the blanks) and that everything will be okay on the other side of weight loss.

 

But what has your life become as a result of following this path? Has the pursuit of a smaller body and food control delivered you to true happiness, freedom, and all that your soul desires? 

If we’re being honest, you probably wouldn’t be here if it had. Deep down, you and I both know you’re searching for something different.

Food Body Soul is the opportunity to recalibrate your compass to the only true source of direction in life, your intuition, and your body’s wisdom. 

 

The work we do in this healing space is not about “putting yourself back together”, because you were never broken in the first place. This is about taking apart who you’ve learned you were supposed to be (in order to be loved, good enough, worthy, etc.) so that you are free to be who you truly are.  

 

Each month in Food Body Soul - The Membership, we will venture into transformational coaching, holistic healing, compassionate support, sacred sisterhood, empowerment, and guided growth. 

 

Food Body Soul is a place where you can bring your whole self and be met with understanding, connection, and coaching as you engage in the work necessary to heal your relationship with food, body, and beyond.

Pop-up virtual dinner parties with Cara

You will have the option to join us for a meal where we will go through mindful eating practices together. We will work through the fear, guilt, and anxiety IN REAL TIME TOGETHER! If you struggle to eat around others for any reason or constantly compare your plate to others this will be an incredible opportunity to have a breakthrough, on top of “legalizing” and making peace with previously “forbidden foods.”

Hey there Beauty, I'm Cara

I am music obsessed, love living in Los Angeles, and am one of those annoying Disneyland addicts! When I am not supporting my incredible clients you will find me cooking, eating, singing, dancing, and enjoying an Aperol spritz with my friends. 

 

As a Health & Life Coach and Breathwork Facilitator, I’m on a mission to help women heal their relationship w/ food, body & beyond. As part of my mission, I am also the published author of two books, Body Wisdom and Vegan Buddha Bowls, as well as the host of my podcast called Love Your Bod Pod. 

 

But before I became the Cara you know today, I existed in a place of chaos where I was stressed, depressed, and obsessed with controlling food and my weight for over a decade. 

 

It felt like the more I tried to shrink my body, the more my life shrank right along with it. 

 

But eventually, I got to a place where I said "enough is enough" and did the work necessary to truly make peace with food and my body so I could access the life that dieting promised, but never delivered. Once I committed to doing this work, my life unfolded in the most beautiful of ways.

 

Originally, I was terrified to release control by letting go of obsession around my body and food. But loosening my grip on dieting and weight control didn’t actually result in my life falling apart...it resulted in it falling together.

 

Once the pieces fell into place and all the dots connected, I started coaching women like you through this healing journey. Since then I’ve guided hundreds of women to true self-love, self-worth, and inner peace. Is FBS a good fit for me?


If you are someone who struggles with food, meaning you think about food A LOT, you have tried tons of diets or programs or lifestyle changes, but nothing seems to work for very long, FBS is for you. If you feel crazy around food, if you identify as a binge eater or emotional eater, if you struggle with overeating and finding balance, FBS is for you. If restaurant menus give you anxiety, if you are struggling with seeing food as “good or bad” if you feel like you have to earn or make up for eating, FBS is for you. If you have spent most of your life hating your body, trying to control your weight, or attach your self-worth to weight then FBS is for you. If any, some, or all of the above sounds like you, then you are a good fit for FBS because this is exactly what we will be helping you work through and heal!




What if I am afraid of weight gain and fear that if I gain more weight I will feel even worse about myself?


I feel you on this, I’ve been there. The fear of weight gain is the biggest fear that keeps us stuck obsessing over food and from working towards food freedom. But the thing is, if you are living in fear of weight gain, that is THE reason to join, so you no longer have to live in this fear. When we detach our worth from our weight we take the power away from food.




What if I feel like now is not the right time?


Well, when is the right time? Do you know? If you don’t know, how long have you been putting THIS off and using “not the right time” as an excuse? What I know is, there is never really a right time, but rather, when we decide we want something we make the time for it. If you want to heal and are ready to commit to the work then now is the right time. And if you asked me, I’d say there is no coincidence that you’re reading this right now. I’d say it is your time.




When does FBS begin?


FBS begins on Thursday, April 1st for the Month of April which will officially be month 1.




When does enrollment open + close?


Doors open on March 24th and will close on April 2nd. They will open again for a few days at the beginning of each month. If doors are currently closed, grab a spot on the waitlist and you’ll receive an invitation to join as soon as doors are open.




What is the investment?


FBS is a monthly payment of only $47 (aka way less than a cup of coffee a day or a moderately priced dinner out) FBS starts with a six-month commitment to allow you to connect with yourself and the community as well as see shifts and progress in your life. Or, if you know that FBS is a perfect fit for you, you can opt into the year subscription (12 months of access) for $423

What are the Monthly Themes?

What is the time commitment?


FBS was designed to be flexible, simple, and supportive. It’s something you can take with you anywhere and utilize when you need it most in your life. Each month, I recommend setting aside 30-60 minutes to watch the masterclass (times vary) and an additional 15-30 minutes to work through the workbook and journal. 1 hour for the group coaching and 90 minutes for the virtual retreat. Recordings will be available if you can not join us live. So about 3-4 hours a month on average. Outside of that, you can engage as little or as much as you’d like with the community and curriculum. Everything in FBS is self-paced and can be engaged with whenever it is best for you.




Is it just for women?


At this moment yes, FBS is for any and all women and femmes looking for a safe, welcoming community where they can make peace with food, their body and connect more deeply to themselves. It’s also a great place to meet like-minded individuals and potentially even a new best friend.




Will I get to connect with Cara in FBS?


Yes! So many opportunities. Not only will Cara be in the Facebook group checking in daily to answer questions and connect, but each month there will be 3 live events you can join, the coaching call, the dinner party, and the virtual retreat.




How do I access the community?


FBS is simple, easy, and straightforward. It is hosted on a private site, where you can log in to FBS on your computer or smartphone, or another device. The interactive community is on Facebook. All information, resources, etc will be posted inside the online community.




How do I get access to the monthly masterclass, workbook, and journal? How long do I have access?


Everything will be inside the online portal. The masterclass, workbook, and journal prompts will be accessible at the beginning of each month. You can download the workbook and journal to keep with you and work through at your own pace. They will be removed at the end of the month and the new month’s content will be added.




How do I join the Coaching Calls and Mini Retreats? How long do I have access to the recordings?


All the details for when each live event is will be hosted inside the FBS community! The time and date for the coaching call and monthly retreat will be announced at the start of the month. Everything will take place over zoom and the details will be easy to find inside the community. The coaching call recording will be available until the end of the month for you to watch if you can’t join live or to revisit if you want to tune in again. You will have access to the Retreat recording for one week so you can revisit or watch if you cannot make it live.




Is there a Facebook Community?


Yes, details for the community and how to join are all within the FBS community.




What is the refund & cancellation policy?


Since time, intention, and space are necessary to healing and growth, FBS starts with a three-month commitment to allow you the opportunity to connect with yourself, the community and see progress in your life. However, if after 3 months you feel it’s not the right fit, you can cancel your membership, no questions asked. Due to the nature of the experience, there are no refunds.




What FBS is not:


FBS is not a substitute for therapy, any other medical condition, or eating disorder treatment. If you have an eating disorder this could be a supplement on the side of your care and I recommend talking with your treatment team and/or health care professional to determine if this will be supportive to you.
